UE nangunguna sa UAAP Juniors overall

MANILA, Philippines - Nangunguna ang University of the East (UE) sa University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 76 juniors general championship race matapos ang panalo sa taekwondo,  table tennis at girls swimming.

Ang Junior Warriors ay lumikom ng 67 points upang umangat sa defending champion University of Santo Tomas at Ateneo na magkasalo sa ikalawang puwesto  dahil sa 56 points.

Ang Tiger Cubs ay hindi nanalo ng titulo sa first semester ngunit naka-second place sa girls swimming, at third sa boys swimming, table tennis, taekwondo at judo.

Ang Blue Eaglets ay nanalo sa boys swimming at judo at nag-runner-up sa basketball.

Ang La Salle-Zobel ay fourth place overall na may 54 points, kasunod ang National University (27), Far Eastern University-Diliman (22), University of the Philippines Integrated School (18) at Adamson University (7).

Ang Junior Archers ay second place sa swimming at judo, habang Bullpups na sumali lang sa dalawang events ay nabawi ang titulo sa basketball at nakakuha ng runner-up trophy sa table tennis. Ang Baby Tamaraws ay pumangalawa sa taekwondo at  third sa basketball.

Ang isang championship trophy ay may katumbas na 15 points, 12 point sa second,  10 points sa third, 8 sa fourth, 6 sa fifth, 4 sa sixth, 2 sa  seventh at 1-point sa eighth.
