Fidel Mangonon III - Pang-masa

“We just want to be more intelligent come Sunday. We’ve been in this situation before. We were up one game against them too. At this point there’s no reason for us to celebrate. It takes two wins to win a best-of-3 series,” pahayag ni Gregorio matapos ang panalong pinamunuan ng 25 puntos, 18 rebounds, 4 assists at 2 steals ni import Eric Dawson.

“There were anxious moments for us especially at the start when we couldn’t stop Denzel Bowles but luckily for us in the end we were able to make the necessary stops, make the crucial free throws. The challenge against San Mig Coffee really is to make them bleed for their baskets. That’s exactly what we did in tonight’s game,” paliwanag ni Gregorio.

Meralco 88 - Dawson 25, Buenafe 13, Salvacion 13, Manuel 8, Cardona 8, Ross 7, Hugnatan 6, Hodge 4, Reyes 3, Artadi 1.

San Mig Coffee 85 - Bowles 37, Mallari 12, Simon 9, Yap 8, Pingris 7, Barroca 6, Devance 6, Gaco 0, Najorda 0, Reavis 0, De Ocampo 0.

Quarterscores: 16-26, 47-43, 70-66, 88-85.
