Morissette, abala rin sa pagiging producer

Nagpaplano si Morissette Amon na mas maraming Bisayan songs pa ang magawa sa mga susunod na buwan. Noong Pebrero lamang ay nailunsad ng singer ang kantang Ang Paghuwat sa iba’t ibang music streaming platforms. “I am working on a lot of music, both songs that I have written and collaborating with different artists. I am also putting up Bisaya music. I am starting to also continuing, championing Bisaya music as well like sina KZ (Tandingan), Kyle (Echarri) and JK (Labajo). They already started and I’m just helping out in pushing forward Bisaya music,” bungad ni Morissette.

Ipinanganak at lumaki ang singer sa Cebu at para kay Morissette ay talagang marami tayong talentadong mga kababayan mula sa iba’ibang probinsya. “I xreally want to be able to help the people there. Kasi before when I started in the industry, parang kailangan naming mga taga-probinsya na pumunta ng Manila para mapansin at mabigyan ng opportunities. But because of the internet, it’s really giving a lot of help in giving the spotlight to the other provinces in our country, and other dialects, and to other musicians that are also there. I want to be able to help with that as well. Kasi ako, nakikita ko bilang in Cebu often times, the last times, I saw amazing talents that are there in Cebu pa lang, what more pa in other provinces. And I feel they also deserve to have a spotlight,” paliwanag niya.

Bukod sa pagkanta at pagsusulat ng kanta ay abala rin si Morissette sa pagiging concert producer. “We are also planning and also producing. I’m also co-producing mga shows at concerts here and everywhere as well,” pagbabahagi ng nakilalang Asia’s Phoenix.

‘I’m blooming on my own’ – Moira

Magsisimula na ang Moira World Tour 2024 concert ni Moira dela Torre. Nakatakdang ganapin sa Malaysia ngayong April 20 ang unang leg ng naturang world tour ng singer. Pagkatapos nito ay sa Amerika at Canada naman gaganapin ang mga concert ni Moira. “I’m very excited to do it again. This is actually kind of like a part to do it with a twist, this time it’s real na. We went through a lot of changes. There were lot of things that were not expected to happen. It will continue to be unfolding and the tour unfolds with it,” paglalahad ni Moira.

Bukod sa sunud-sunod na concert ay nakatakda ring maglabas ng isang bagong album ang singer-composer. Ayon kay Moira ay kailangang pakaabangan ng kanyang mga tagahanga ang mga bagong kanta. “I love that it really did because now all the Moira is going to be the most authentic, most vulnerable, most uplifting and most encouraging album I have ever written in my life,” giit niya.

Taong 2022 nang magkahiwalay sina Moira at Jason Hernandez. Tatlong taong nagsama bilang mag-asawa ang dalawa bago nauwi sa hiwalayan ang kanilang relas­yon. Ano na nga ba ang estado ng puso nga­yon ni Moira? “I bloom on my own. I’m open but we’re in the process of my… I don’t know if I can say it. But yes, I’m blooming on my own,” makahulugang pagtatapat ni Moira. (Reports from JCC)
