Bagong international project ni Liza, sa Pilipinas iso-shoot

Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay nakadalo si Liza Soberano sa 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Ginanap ang SAG Awards 2024 sa Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall sa Los Angeles, California noong February 24.

Hanggang ngayon ay halos hindi makapaniwala ang aktres na mararanasan ito. “This is a big deal for me and this is what I dreamed of. So, I have to constantly remind myself that, ‘You worked hard to get here.’ And everything that’s happening is magic,” nakangi­ting pahayag ni Liza sa ABS-CBN News.

Napabilang umano ang aktres sa mga miyembro ng unyon ng Hollywood actors dahil sa pelikulang Lisa Frankenstein.

Nakadalo rin si Liza sa Hollywood premiere ng naturang comedy horror film noong February 5.

Ngayon ay isang bagong international project ang nakatakdang gawin ng aktres. “I have an upcoming project. I’m not allowed to give a lot of details about it yet though. It is a U.S.- based production. But it will be filmed in the Philippines. Sometimes this year, we’re going to start filming. I think hopefully next year it will come out,” pagbabahagi ng dalaga.

Janella, ‘di makalimutan ang taong 2020!

Kamakailan ay muling pumirma ng kontrata ni Janella Salvador sa ABS-CBN. Malaki ang pasasalamat ng aktres sa Kapamilya network na patuloy na nagtitiwala sa kanyang kakayahan. “I love ABS-CBN, we grew together. I grew up here at ABS-CBN. I started here and I do not see an end to it,” bungad ni Janella.

Hinding-hindi umano makalilimutan ng aktres ang taong 2020. Ito ang mga panahong nagbuntis at nanganak si Janella. Nawalan din ng prangkisa ang ABS-CBN noon sa kasagsagan ng Covid-19 pandemic. Matatandaang nakabalik si Janella sa trabaho noong 2022. Ginampanan ng aktres ang karakter ni Valentina sa Mars Ravelo’s Darna na pinagbidahan ni Jane de Leon. “When the pandemic hit, we both had reasons and possibilities to let each other go, with the shutdown and me getting pregnant. The people around me were very scared for me. And with some people still believing that getting pregnant is career suicide and all that, people around me were really nervous for me. But I’m so thankful and glad that we did not let each other go. We’re still here. I stood up for you and you stood up for me. I’m very, very thankful for that. Thank you for standing up for me,” paglalahad niya.

Marami nang nagawang pelikula at teleserye si Janella sa mahigit isang dekadang pananatili sa show business.

Nangangarap ang aktres na makagawa pa ng maraming proyekto sa bakuran ng Kapamilya network. “I know deep down that my story hasn’t even reached its best part yet. Within 13 years, I have grown and learned so much. I wouldn’t have had it any other way, growing with you,” makahulugang pagtatapos ng aktres. (Reports from JCC)
