SO...CHISMIS ITOH! - Ruel Mendoza - Pilipino Star Ngayon

“This film is based on the memories from my own childhood, for the two years before the Martial Law was declared in the Philippines.

“It was the advent of the darkest period of our history, which was cataclysmic. Everything in the film comes from my memories, all the characters are real but then I just changed their names, of course,” sey pa ni Direk Lav nang tanggapin nito ang pangaral sa Locarno.

The 38-year old actor was only 15 noong una niyang makatrabaho ang world famous comedian in the 1991 sa Steven Spielberg live-action Peter Pan film, Hook.

Sa personal blog nga ni Dante na “Dante Basco: My Take On Life...” (https://dantebasco.wordpress.com/) narito ang ilang sinulat niya sa kanyang magandang experience playing the biggest role of his career at ang pagkakataon na makatrabaho at makilala ang aktor na si Robin Williams.

“Today Robin Williams past away and it’s been so surreal, it felt like it came out of nowhere…

“A text message from a friend made me aware of the news and frantically I jumped online to see if it was true.

“Although working with him changed my life, in truth, he impacted me several years before when Dead Poet’s Society became one of my favorite films and really started me being interested in poetry, at which I later became a poet.

“I was fortunate to spend private times, many mornings in the makeup chair, (which with my tri-hawk hair took hours), just talking about poetry… And soft spoken and introspectively we would discuss Walt Whitman and Charles Bukowski.

“But I just want to bid a sorrowful farewell to one of the greatest I’ve been able to work with and be around and I’ll always remember my time with you as some of the greatest moments in my life… and just like the rest of the world, I’ll remember you with joy and laughter.

“O’ Captain! My Captain! See you in Neverland…”

Huli nga siyang lumabas sa pelikulang Bad Asses with Danny Glover and Danny Trejo. Lumabas din siya sa mga pelikulang Take The Lead, But I’m A Cheerleader, Biker Boyz and Subject: I Love You.

The Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender, at Ultimate Spiderman.
