Mother Lily nagpapasalamat sa mga nagdasal at sa apat na ospital

It’s good to hear that Mother Lily Monteverde is back to her old form. She’s now again reportedly personally attending, especially, to the publicity ng kanyang soon-to-open movie My Lady Boss, starring Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera.

A few months back, we all know that Mother Lily was sick. She was diagnosed with cancer of the lungs.

But after a series of more medical tests, including a biopsy, which prompted her personal oncologist to advise her to submit to a CT scan so she would know kung anong stage na ng kanyang cancer, lo and behold, the verdict was that nasa stage one pa lamang ito.

A simple operation was needed to have the tumor in her lungs removed that turned out to be benign.

Bagama’t according to Mother Lily, the treatment given to her by experts from four hospitals na kanyang pinuntahan, at common ang finding na may cancer na siya, may have a hand sa kanyang pagga­ling. However, she would consider all the prayers ng lahat ng pagmamahal sa kanya as the greater factor na naging dahilan para completely ay gumaling siya.

As she keeps saying before and now: ‘‘Prayers work wonder. Magkaroon lang tayo ng complete faith kay Lord, walang problema tayong ’di masu-solve.’’

A colleague in the entertainment media who needs our prayers now is Mar de Guzman Cruz. Namaalam na siya after getting sick.

Aster Amoyo, another colleague, also sent us this text: ‘‘Precious, daughter of Kuya Mar, texted me and requested that I pray for her dad, Kuya Mar. Aniya, her dad is in coma right now. He is confined at the ICU of the Philippine Heart Center because of septic shock. Due to liver infection.”

Pero kinahapunan din ay namatay na ang batikang movie writer at radio commentator.
