Janda kumana ng 3 golds sa SPSA series
MANILA, Philippines — Pinangunahan ni veteran international campaigner Master Charles Janda ang mga gold medal winners sa SPSA Rebuilding Champions Class ABC and Novice Meet Swim Series Leg 2 kahapon sa Diliman Preparatory School swimming pool sa Quezon City.
Humakot si Janda ng tatlong gintong medalya sa boys’ 14-year division sa Class A kung saan nanguna siya sa 200m Individual Medley (2:34.65), 50m butterfly (30.41) at 50m backstroke (31.53).
“We are overwhelmed with the outcome in terms of participation despite the threat of typhoon,” wika ni SPSA president Alex Papa.
“We are thankful to all the swimmers, coaches and parents who supported this competition,” dagdag pa nito.
Wagi rin ng ginto sina Jan Rey Aquino (boys’ 12-year 50m butterfly), Rianne Aquino (boys’ 12-year 200m IM) at Shannen Balderas (girls’ 11-year 200m IM) ng Paraiso ni Baste Swimming Team na hawak ni coach George Castro.
Umani naman si Tacloban Sea Lion standout Joaquin Peter Chua ng isang ginto (50m backstroke) at dalawang pilak (100m IM at 5om butterfly) sa boys’ 8-year, habang humirit ng dalawang ginto si Bryx Russel Coronado sa boys’ 7-year 100m IM at 50m butterfly.
Nakaginto rin sina Luis Martinez (boys’ 50m butterfly), Manuel Victor Perez (boys’ 16-over 50m butterfly) at Manuelle Louise Perez (girls’ 16-over 50m butterfly).
Ang iba pang lumangoy ng medalya ay sina Santien Cloud Santos, Pia Magat, Annika Orlina, Rica Ansale, Rafaelle Cruz, Iyuryell Caoliyat, Gabriel Lontayao, Jacob Blanco, Cariga Lakan, Eisha Consuegra, Kaeley Cabalida, Eunice Manara at Mayumi Fenol.
Nakahirit din ng medalya Diana Lucban, Marta Abarquez, Emily Chua, Sharlene Go, Cailianne Sy, Allyza Palermo, Charles Hinaut, Ronald Magat, Andrei Samontanes, Zeyn Sulit, Robbie Elomina, Reiss Dumadag, Allen Conda, Rafael Ole, Alaina Cana, Carli Wein at Blaike Freo.
