Anti-Doping Education para sa SEAG Philippine Team

MANILA, Philippines —  Pinamunuan ni Philippine National Anti-Doping Organization (PHI-NADO) Director Dr. Alejandro Pineda ang anti-doping awareness session via Zoom para sa mga atleta at opisyal na magpapartisipa sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Cambodia.

Sa pakikipag-ugna­yan sa Philippine Olympic Committee-Athletes Commission, tinalakay ni Pineda ang mga aksyon na ginawa ng PHI-NADO sa mga nakaraang taon bilang pagtalima sa ipinatutupad na patakaran at regulasyon ng World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

“As part of WADA rules, we have to maintain a high-level education program and see to it that PHI-NADO will disseminate new information and activities regarding doping control and rules to all our athletes from elite down to the grassroots and deve­lopmental level,” sabi ng kinatawan ng bansa sa Southeast Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization (SEA-RADO).

Kasama rin sa sesyon at nagbigay ng mensahe si Philippine delegation Chief of Mission to Cambodia SEA Games Chito Loyzaga at POC Athletes Commission member Nik­ko Huelgas.

Tinalakay nina Stephanie Pagarigan ng PHI- NADO Anti-Doping Education at Nathan Vasquez ng Anti-Doping Testing ang Values Check at Doping Control Testing at Anti-Do­ping Rules and Regulations.

“Educate yourself, find time to read and update yourself on the latest information. Let us work together towards more fruitful and meaningful Philippine sports,” ani Loyzaga.

Magpapatuloy ang PHI-NADO education program sa Anti-Doping E-Learning (ADEL) Workshop para sa Philippine Team International Level Athletes via Zoom sa Abril 15.

“We’re inviting all our national team players and athlete support personnel to this workshop where we will go through some of your questions and queries regarding the ADEL for International Level Athletes,” sabi ni Pineda.
