MANILA, Philippines — Muling isusuot ng mga miyembro ng Team Philippines ang mga damit at sapatos ng ASICS para sa 32nd Southeast Asian Games sa Cambodia sa Mayo.
Ito ay matapos selyuhan nina Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino at SONAK Chief Technology Officer Kabir Buxani ang muli nilang pagtatambal.
“ASICS has been tested in many competitions abroad. Their apparel, including the shoes, are all high end and made from quality materials,” wika ni Tolentino kahapon sa isang formal sponsorship ceremony sa East Ocean Garden Restaurant sa Pasay City.
Ibibigay ng ASICS ang complete tracksuits, t-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, backpacks, caps, socks at footwear sa mga miyembro ng Team Philippines na kinabibilangan ng 840 athletes at 300 coaches.
“We are glad that ASICS is back for the fifth time as the country’s official outfitter for our athletes, coaches and team officials in Cambodia,” dagdag ng POC chief sa Cambodia SEA Games na nakatakda sa Mayo 5-17.
Sagot din ng ASICS ang mga national athletes at coaches na sasalang sa ASEAN Para Games na idaraos rin sa Cambodia sa Hunyo 3-9.
Nakasama nina Tolentino at Buxani sa naturang seremonya sina POC deputy secretary-general for international affairs Bones Floro, Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ramon “Tats” Suzara at SONAK director Filipina “Bhaby” Lorenzo.
