Valientes humugot uli ng ex-NBA player

MANILA, Philippines — Isa na namang dating NBA player ang maglalaro para sa Pilipinas matapos sikwatin ng Zambaonga Valientes ang serbisyo ni Mario Chalmers para sa kanilang kampanya sa idinaraos na 2023 ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) Invitationals.

Inanunsyo kahapon ng Valientes ang signing kay Chalmers, two-time champion ng NBA at kilalang guard ng Miami Heat dynasty sa pangugnuna nina LeBron James, Dwyane Wade at Chris Bosh.

Napili bilang 34th overall pick ng Minnesota Timberwolves si 6-foot-2 Charlmers noong 2008 draft bago na-trade sa Heat, kung saan siya naglaro para sa kanyang makulay na NBA career.

Huli siyang naglaro sa NBA G League noong nakaraang taon kaya inaasahang nasa kundisyon pa rin upang maisalba ang kampanya ng Zamboanga.
