Aranas sinagot ang akusasyon ni Tolentino
MANILA, Philippines — Kagaya ng inaasahan, dumepensa si Atty. Clint Aranas ng archery sa akusasyon ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) incumbent president Abraham ‘Bambol’ Tolentino ng paggamit umano niya ng ‘dirty tactics’.
Noong nakaraang Biyernes ay nagsampa si Aranas ng protesta sa POC election committee para ipadiskuwalipika sa eleksyon si Tolentino at mga katiket nitong sina Tom Carrasco ng triathlon, Cynthia Carrion ng gymnastics, Dr. Raul Canlas ng surfing at Dave Carter ng judo dahil sa ilang isyu.
“The petitions to the POC election committee over the eligibility of some candidates were made in the quest of accountabi-lity, transparency and right governance, all in the spirit of “Olympism and sportsmanship” required of us who aspire to be leaders of our august institution,” wika ni Aranas.
Lalabanan ni Aranas si Tolentino para sa POC presidential post sa eleksyon sa Nobyembre 27.
