MANILA, Philippines — Umani ng dalawang gintong medalya si World University Games veteran Martin Jacob Pupos upang pamunuan ang mga gold medalists sa Philippine Swimming League (PSL) 132nd National Series - Long Course Swim Meet sa Kagayan Lawndale Spring Resort sa Sitio Taguanao, Cagayan de Oro City.
Pinagharian ni Pupos ang boys’ 15-over 200m freestyle sa pamamagitan ng dalawang minuto at dalawang segundo na agad nitong sinundan ng pamamayagpag sa 200m Individual Medley tangan ang dalawang minuto at 18 segundo.
Naghahanda si Pupos para sa 2018 Indian Ocean All-Star Challenge na gaganapin sa Marso 30 hanggang 31 sa Perth, Australia.
“PSL is very much occupied with our developmental process. We are exposing swimmers not only in our monthly competition but also in international level. We want these kids to experience competing against their foreign counterparts to further hone their skills,” wika ni PSL President Susan Papa.
Wagi rin ng gintong medalya sina Chryztyn Leonardo (girls’ 6-under 50m butterfly), Kiara Acierto (girls’ 7-year 50m butterfly), Nathaly Chelle Perez (girls’ 8-year 50m butterfly), Chelsea Mamugay (girls’ 9-year 50m butterfly), Sairah Janelle Pabellon (girls’ 10-year 50m butterfly) at Arianne Minao (girls’ 11-year 50m butterfly).
Ang iba pang gold medal winners ay sina Kiara Ramielle Eroy, Jindsy Azze Daison, Kayleigh Pabelic, Allura Dione Javier, Deandre Vin Uy, Leodd Troy Dalman, Izydro Warain, Sebastian Blake Morgia, Nimrod Montera, Leani Vince Dalman, Blu Larion, Christian Leyno at Enzo Izak Ben Malayang.
Nakahirit naman ng medalya sa kani-kanilang events sina Akaela Jaimer Saavedra, Andrea Jean Andam,Jianna Simone Mearns, Xian Chelsea Espinas, Gene Heart Quiambao at Gerald Emmanuel Banares.
