MANILA, Philippines - Nanguna sina Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh ng Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque at Marc Bryan Dula ng Weisenheimer Academy sa mga Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awardees sa Class A-B ng 107th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series na ginanap sa Diliman Preparatory School swimming pool sa Quezon City.
Muling inilatag ng dalawang tankers ang kanilang husay kung saan nakalikom si Mojdeh ng 67 puntos upang kubrahin ang unang puwesto sa girls’ 10-year category habang umani naman si Dula ng 63 puntos para masungkit ang parangal sa boys’ 9-year division.
Sumiguro rin ng MOS awards sina record-breaker Sean Terence Zamora ng University of Santo Tomas (boys’ 15-over), Andrea Jheremy Pacheco ng College of Saint Benilde (girls’ 15-over) at Charize Juliana Esmero ng University of the Philippines (girls’ 14-year) gayundin si Aishel Cid Evangelista (boys’ 6-under) na bumasag din ng rekord.
Nakasiguro rin ang Diliman Preparatory School ng apat na MOS awards mula kina Lee Grant Cabral (boys’ 10-year), Paula Carmela Cusing (girls’ 13-year), Albert Sermonia (boys’ 11-year) at Ehm Ahmadelle Alavy-Chafi (girls’ 8-year).
Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Marthene Miel Bodegon (7), Triza Haileyana Tabamo (9), Sofia Beatriz Lopez (11) at Rigel Cassandra Hechanova (12) sa girls’ class, at sina Raniel Bautista (7), Trump Christian Luistro (8), Rizalino Cortez (12), Jose Rommel Corpuz (13) at Dave Angelo Tiquia (14) sa boys’ category.
Anim na bagong rekord ang naitala tampok ang tatlo mula kay Evangelista (100m Individual Medley, 1:37.78, 50m backstroke, 44.22 at 50m freestyle, 38.59).
Nagrehistro naman ng rekord si Zamora sa 100m IM (1:00.10) gayundin si Bautista sa 50m freestyle (36.00) at Drew Benett Magbag sa boys’ 15-over 50m breaststroke (30.65).
Kinikilala ang PSL ng Philippine Sports Commission at Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippine bilang opisyal na swimming association sa bansa.
