11 bansa nagkumpirma na ng lahok sa 2015 National Open

MANILA, Philippines – Dinadagsa na ng mga dayuhang bansa ang gaganaping 2015 PATAFA National Open Track and Field Association mula Mayo 19 hanggang 22 sa Laguna Sports Complex.

Masayang ibinalita kahapon ni PATAFA president Philip Ella Juico na nagkumpirma na ang mga bansang China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Vietnam, Myanmar at Korea.

Dahil sa pagdayo ng mga bigating katunggali kaya’t pinaghahanda na rin ni Juico ang mga national athletes para bigyan ng ningning ang laban ng host country.

“All our national athletes, including medalists in the last SEA Games in Myanmar will compete because this is one of the many tryouts they have to go through,” wika ni Juico.

Naunang sinabi ni PSC commissioner-in-charge Jolly Gomez na hindi na paglalaruin ang mga elite athletes sa Open dahil ipadadala ito sa US para magsanay.

“We are open to all possibility especially as far as the training of our athletes is concerned. Pero hindi naman kailangan siguro lahat ay ipadala sa ibang bansa. Maaaring mas makamura pa kung dalhin na lang sa bansa ang isang foreign coach,” dagdag pa ni Juico.

Bukod sa National Open, gagamitin din ng PATAFA ang Thailand Open, Malaysian Open at Vietnam Open para pagbasehan ng manlalaro na ipadadala sa SEAG.

Nanalo ng anim na ginto ang Pilipinas sa Myanmar ngunit nakikita ni Juico na kayang manalo ng hanggang walo ang ipadadala sa Singapore. (AT)
