Ikinukunsidera bilang future national badminton player, tinalo ni Albo sina Lyrden Laborte ng Visayas, 21-15, 21-23, 21-11, at Michael Jastine Perez ng Mindanao, 21-6, 21-7, para pagharian ang boys’ Under-13 singles class.
Samantala, pinatumba ni Visayas bet April Dianne Bibiano ng Bacolod City sina national junior player Sarah Joy Barredo ng Luzon, 21-11, 21-15, at Janine Peligrino ng Mindanao, 21-18, 21-12, para sa girls’ Under-19 singles national title.
Ang torneo ay suportado ng Sun Cellular, SMART Communications, Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP) Sports Foundation, PBA Smash Pilipinas, Prima Pasta, Rocktape Phils. at Babolat at pinalakas ng Forthright Events. Ito ay may basbas ng Philippine Badminton Association (PBA) at bahagi ng Philippine National Ranking System.
Dinaig naman ni Carl Bernard Bejasa ng Visayas sina Mindanao bet Arthur Samuel Salvado, 21-12, 18-21, 21-17, at Jewel Angelo Albo ng Luzon, 21-18, 21-16, para sa boys’ 15-Under singles trophy.
Giniba ni Laville Laborte ng Visayas sina Lourdes Babanto ng Visayas, 21-11, 21-16, at Virginia Lopez ng Luzon via walkover para kunin ang 15-U girls’ singles crown.
