SINGAPORE--Inangkin ng mga atleta ng Philippine Swimming League (PSL) ang 25 gold medals sa 2014 Singapore Invitational Swimming Championship sa Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) dito.
Binasag ni Daryl Concepcion ng Diliman Preparatory School ang nine-year-old record sa boys’ 13-14, 50-meter backstroke.
Nagsumite ang 12-anyos na si Concepcion ng oras na 30.44 segundo para burahin ang 30.91 ni Peh Fraser ng Singapore noong 2005 edition ng torneo.
Humakot naman ng tig-tatlong ginto sina veteran campaigners Jesreel Francisco at Christen Mercado, habang may tig-dalawa sina Sean Terence Zamora, Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, Angelica Medrano at Denjylie Cordero.
Si Cordero ang namuno sa girls’ 18-over 200m IM at 50m breaststroke.
Ang iba pang gold medalists ay sina Patrick Tierie (boys’ 18-over 100m fly), Bela Louise Magtibay (girls’ 200m IM), Gianna Data (girls’ 15-17 200m IM), Michael Lozada (boys’ 7-8 50m back), Paula Angela Villamil (girls’ 13-14 50m back), Delia Angela Cordero (girls’ 18-over 50m back), Emmanuel Solina (boys’ 7-8 100m fly), Martin Jacob Pupos (boys’ 15-17 100m fly) at Celine Delotavo (girls’ 13-14 100m fly).
