SAN ANTONIO--Pinanindigan ni Tony Parker ang kanyang pangako na handa siyang maglaro sa Game 4 ng NBA Finals.

Ngunit hindi lamang niya natapos ang laro.

Matapos umiskor ng 15 points sa first half ay hindi na nakagawa ang All-Star point guard sa second half para sa San Antonio Spurs.

Inamin ni Parker, nagkaroon ng hamstring strain sa Game 3, na kinapos na siya sa second half.

Naglista si Parker ng 0-of-4 fieldgoal shoo­ting sa second half.

“It was kind of weak. I didn’t know what to expect,” sabi ni Parker. “So the first three, four minutes I was kind of testing it, and the first half it felt OK. And the second half I think I got fatigued a little bit.”

“Overall I’m just happy I didn’t make it worse,” dagdag pa nito.

Tumabla ang Heat sa Spurs sa 2-2 at pamamahalaan ng San Antonio ang Game 5 sa Linggo.

Ayon kay Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, hindi ang kalusugan ni Parker ang problema.

“Miami did a great job on him,” wika ni Popovich kay Parker. “They doubled. They got it out of his hands and other people had to play.”

Tumapos si Parker na may 7-of-16 fieldgoal shooting at tatlong beses lamang tumapak sa foul line.

Naglaro si Parker sa loob ng 31 minuto hanggang sa fourth quarter kung saan tuluyan nang kumawala ang Heat.
