PTA pili at palaban sa medalya ang isasabak na jins sa Myanmar SEA Games
MANILA, Philippines - Bagamat binawasan ang mga events para sa 27th Southeast Asian GaÂmes sa Disyembre, magpapadala pa rin ang Philippine Taekwondo Association ng koponang malaki ang potensyal na makapag-uwi ng gintong medalya mula sa Myanmar.
Mula sa 24 produkto ng Carlos Palanca Jr. championships na magsasanay para sa world championships sa Hulyo, pipili ang PTA ng anim sa men’s at anim sa women’s divisions.
Sinabi ni coach Dindo Simpao, miyembro ng national coaching staff sa SCOOP sa Kamayan, na ang dalawa sa apat na gold medalists sa nakaraang 2011 SEA Games sa Indonesia ay kasama sa koponang isasabak sa Myanmar.
Ito ay sina Joseph Paul Lizardo, nagwagi sa men’s 58-kilogram Kyorugi, at si Elaine Alora, nagreyna sa women’s 62-kg. Kyorugi.
