Bagong DepEd sec. iaanunsiyo ngayong linggo
MANILA, Philippines — May napili na si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na bagong kalihim ng Department of Education kapalit nang nagbitiw na si Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sinabi ni Marcos na iaanunsiyo niya ito bago matapos ang linggo.
“I will probably be able to, I would like to be able to announce the appointment of the DepEd Secretary by the end of the week,” ani Marcos.
Hindi rin aniya dapat na iwanang bakante ang DepEd dahil napakahalagang departamento ito.
“Bakit kayo nagugulat? We cannot leave it open. Importante ‘yung trabaho nila. We cannot just leave it like that na nakatiwangwang na walang secretary. Kayat minamadali ko lahat. Bigyan niyo ko maraming pangalan, ano gusto natin, what do we need tingnan natin ng mabuti where is the status of the DepEd, what is now required? Ano pa ba ‘yung kailangan gawin? So what do we need? Do we need an educator? Do we need an administrator,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
Sinabi rin ni Marcos na wala namang ibinigay na rason si Duterte sa pagbibitiw sa puwesto bilang kalihim ng DepEd at pagiging vice chairman ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC).
“She said ‘wag nalang natin pag-usapan’ so I did not force the issue. Well we have to carry in and the Department of Education is quite possibly, arguably the most important education because education is that important so no matter the change of leadership in the department, we still have to carry on,” pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos.
