MANILA, Philippines — Lumagda sa isang Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ang University of the Philippines sa pamamagitan ng Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry (TCAGP) at RASA Surveying and Realty /RASA Sueveying Instruments (RASA Surveying).
Layon ng MOU na palakasin pa ang umiiral na partnership sa pagitan ng dalawang institusyon at pagtututok sa academic cooperation and mutual understanding.
“This agreement sets the groundwork for collaborative research, student internships, and the sharing of data and information to support the advancement of the geodetic engineering field. The partnership signifies our commitment to promote innovation and excellence in geodetic engineering, recognizing its importance in the Philippines,” ayon kay Engr. Raymond Arnold S. Alberto, presidente ng RASA Surveying.
Sinabi naman ni UP President Angelo A. Jimenez na karangalan ng UP na maging partners sa RASA, na isang lider pagdating sa industriya ng geomatics engineering services para maisulong ang collaborative research opportunities na desenyo para sa kanilang academic and research objectives.
“This collaboration will enable us to achieve greater heights in our research and academic endeavors. The college has always been committed to excellence in engineering education and research, and this MOU signing further strengthens our resolve to pursue innovation, knowledge creation and technology transfer for the betterment of society,” ayon naman kay Prof. Maria Antonia N. Tanchuling, PhD, Dean ng UP College of Engineering.
