MANILA, Philippines — Itinalaga na ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. bilang susunod na tagapamuno ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ang aktor, TV host at komedyanteng si Arnell Ignacio.
Ang balita ay kinumpirma na ni Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles sa media, Miyerkules.

Ayon kay Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople, nagtrabaho na noon si Ignacio ng isang taon bilang deputy administrator bago umalis para sa mga personal na dahilan.
Na-reappoint siya noong Setyembre noong nakaraang taon sa parehong posisyon.

Nakilala noon si Arnell bilang host ng "K! The 1 Million Peso Videoke Challenge," "Wowowee," "Singing Bee," at umarte rin noon sa Kapuso sitcom na "Ober Da Bakod" atbp.
Magsisilbi namang Undersecretary for Licensing and Adjudication si Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Bernard Olalila, na siya ring magiging officer-in-charge ng POEA hanggang maging "fully constituted" na ang departamento sa pagpapasa ng 2023 budget.
