Globe nakakuha ng 495 permits sa dagdag na cell towers noong Enero - Pebrero
MANILA, Philippines — Tumanggap ng malawakang suporta ang target ng Globe na maka-pagtayo ng 2,000 bagong towers ngayong taon makaraang makakuha ng kabuuang 495 permits mula sa iba’t ibang local go-vernment units sa unang dalawang buwan ng taon.
Ang kompanya ay nakakuha ng 253 permits noong Enero at sinundan ng 242 pa noong Pebrero.
Ang North Luzon ang nangunguna sa mga lugar na may pinakamaraming permits na nakuha na may 164, sumusunod ang NCR na may 118 at Visayas na may 78. Pang-apat ang Mindanao na may 71 at kasunod ang South Luzon na may 64 permits.
“More and more local government units are now rea-lizing the value and importance of connecti-vity especially for people who work from home and for children doing online learning. They have seen the importance of having a strong internet connection and good signal on how to extend basic government services to their consti-tuents. Not having connectivity, while the whole country has embraced the new normal, will really have an impact on how the people see their LGUs in these challenging times,” wika ni Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.
