Lumad killings pinabubusisi sa UN

MANILA, Philippines – Nanawagan ang rights group na Karapatan sa United Nations na busisiin ang usapin ng pamamaslang at displacement ng mga  Lumads sa  Min­danao.

“We want international bodies to know what is happening in Mindanao — that the Lumad, in defense of their land, are being killed and forced to leave their communities,”  pahayag ni Karapatan secretary general Cristina Palabay.

Partikular na pinabubusisi ng Karapatan sa UN Human Rights Council ang pagkamatay ng Lumad leaders na sina Dionel Campos at Datu Juvello Sinzo gayundin ni Director Emerito Samarca ng Alternative Learning Center for Agricultural and Livelihood Development (Alcadev) school at ang displacement ng may 3,000 Lumads sa Surigao del Sur.
