Si PNoy ang 'Pork Barrel King' - Bayan

MANILA, Philippines - Nararapat ang bansag na "Pork Barrel King" kay Pangulong Benigno Aquino III dahil sa pagmamatigas na tanggalin ng tuluyan ang maanomalyang pondo, ayon sa militanteng grupo ngayong Huwebes.

"Aquino has resisted calls to abolish pork and has revealed himself as no different from the past regime when it comes to discretionary lump-sum spending," pahayag ni Bayan secretary general Renato Reyes Jr.

"The title of Pork Barrel King is well-deserved, and the mass protests on Oct. 4 against pork are truly justified," dagdag niya.

Samantala, hinikayat din ni Reyes ang publiko na ipagpatuloy ang paghahanap ng katotohanan at panagutin ang mga may sala sa kontrobersyal na pork barrel scam.

Kahapon ay iginiit ni Aquino na naaayon sa saligang batas ang kinukuwestiyong Disbursement Acceleration Program na umano'y ibinigay sa mga mambabatas na bumoto para sa pagpapatalsik kay dating chief justice Renato Corona.

Sinabi ng Palasyo na kasamang tinanggal sa sistema ng gobyerno ang DAP nang ibasura nila ang PDAF nitong Agosto.

"Aquino should stop portraying himself as the exception to the rule. His pork misuse has been revealed to be violative of the constitution. Tama na ang palusot," sabi ni Reyes.
