LTFRB ikinatuwa ang desisyon ng CA

Pilipino Star Ngayon

MANILA, Philippines – Ikinatuwa ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang desisyon ng Court of Appeals na ipatupad na ang “phase-out” scheme para sa mga lumang public utility vehicles na lagpas sa 13 taon.

"The LTFRB wants to extend its gratitude to the Court of Appeals in supporting our plan to modernize our transport industry by ruling in our favor the imposition of age limit for UVs in our country," pahayag ni LTFRB chairman Winston Ginez.

"One of my marching orders from our President and DOTC (Department of Transportation and Communications) Secretary Joseph Emilio Aguinaldo Abaya when I assumed leadership at LTFRB is to find ways to modernize our transport system to be at par with our neighboring countries in the region," sabi ni Ginez.
