Foreign minister ng Japan bibisita

MANILA, Philippines – Bibisita sa bansa ang bagong Japanese Foreign Minister na si Fumio Kishida sa Miyerkules, ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ngayong Martes.
 
Dagdag ng DFA na ang pagpunta ni Kishida sa Maynila ay ang kanyang unang overseas trip mula nang maupo siya sa puwesto sa basbas ng bagong Prime Minister ng Japan na si Shinzo Abe noong Disyembre 26, 2012.
 
Makikipagpulong si Kishida kay DFA Secretary Albert del Rosario upang pag-usapan ang bilateral relations ng Pilipinas at ng Japan gayundin ang regional issues at foreign policy priorities nang bagong liderato ng Japan.
 
Nakatakda ding mag-courtesy call si Kishida kay Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III sa Malakanyang.
 
"The visit is an opportunity for both countries to advance the Philippines-Japan Strategic Partnership under the new Japanese administration. Japan is one of only two strategic partners of the Philippines and is one of the most important economic partners in terms of trade, investments and development assistance," sabi ng DFA.
