Nagbabalik si Lea Salonga sa musical na Les Miserables para sa Les Misérables: The World Tour Spectacular, running at The Theatre at Solaire from Jan. 20 to March 1, 2026.

Si Lea ang naging first Asian actress na gumanap sa role na Eponine sa Les Miz in 1993 on Broadway at sa 10th anniversary concert in 1995. In the 2006 Broadway revival, ginampanan niya ang role na Fantine.

Sa kanyang return to Les Miz, the Tony Award-winning actress will portray the role of Madame Thénardier.

Hindi lang si Lea ang Filipino sa cast dahil kasama rin sina Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine, Red Concepcion as Thénardier, and Emily Bautista as Éponine.

Kasama rin sa principal cast sina Gerónimo Rauch as Jean Valjean and Jeremy Secomb as Javert.

Les Misérables: The World Tour Spectacular is an expanded version of Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, which ran for more than 200 performances in the West End that opened in September 2024.

The production is currently running in Shanghai bago ang staging in Manila at susunod sa Singapore. It will then return to Europe for performances at the Royal Albert Hall before heading to Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Ito ay sina Cyrille Payumo (Miss Charm PH) and Chelsea Fernandez (Miss Cosmo PH).

Si Payumo ay umaani ng mga papuri sa newly released official glam shot for Miss Charm at sa kanyang introduction video. Ang coronation ay sa Dec. 12.

Hollywood actress, may health condition dahil sa anxiety

Ni-reveal ng Hollywood actress na si January Jones na meron siyang health condition na misophonia.

According to the Cleveland Clinic: “Misophonia is a disorder where you have a decreased tolerance to specific sounds and things you can sense related to them. The disorder are triggered, they can feel intense anger, anxiety or disgust.”

Post ni Jones on Instagram: “Hey, so for today I would like to talk about something I’ve been struggling with my whole life called misophonia, my whole life. It’s gotten progressively worse over the years. I have a brother-in-law whose favorite food is chips, just all the time eating chips. I have talked to him about this many times and he seems to think it is funny to eat chips around me now because it is an ongoing joke to see what happens, to see what I do and I just think it is unkind to my issue and also very dangerous for him.”

Nakilala si Jones sa pagganap niya as Betty Draper in the American series na Mad Men. Lumabas din siya sa mga pelikulang X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, American Wedding, Unknown, Love Actually, Anger Management, We Are Marshalls and The Boat That Rocked.
