Beteranang aktres na si Chanda may paalala sa mga katrabahong millennial
Kabilang si Ms. Chanda Romero sa ilang veteran stars na aktibo pa rin sa paglabas sa mga teleserye.
Higit na 48 years na si Chanda sa entertainment industry at ilang henerasyon na ng artista ang kanyang nakatrabaho na.
Sa bagong teleserye ni Chanda, makakatrabaho niya ang millennials na sina Jillian Ward, Althea Ablan at Sofia Pablo sa Prima Donnas.
Nag-share nga ng ilang words of wisdom si Chanda sa kanyang mga bagong makakasama sa teleserye.
“One thing talaga that I can say is you have to love what you’re doing. You appreciate it. You appreciate the little things that it offers you as a person.
“Kasi you’re not just enriching your craft, every day you report to the set, you’re being enriched as a person, kasi nakikita mo on a personal level ang maraming tao.
“And it’s up to you how to react to them, how to co-exist with them or how to melt into their worlds on a one-on-one basis. But, on the whole, love the craft,” ngiti pa ni Chanda.
Pinakaimportante raw sa isang artista ay ang may pagpapahalaga sa trabaho. Isipin parati na may puwedeng pumalit sa kanila anytime.
“Noon kasi in the ‘70s, most of us, mga co-stars ko, we loved what we were doing. And we valued it as a craft.
“Sadly, it’s not the same now because some people look at it as just a money-maker. It’s not. It shouldn’t be.
“There will be someone younger, someone more beautiful, but it’s not every year na mayroong ipapanganak o may susulpot na mahusay na aktor.
“Ang sikreto talaga is to love acting. Love it and grow with it,” diin pa ni Chanda.
