Ogie tumulong sa pagpapalibing kay Pepe Smith

Kung nasaan man ngayon ang late rock star na si Pepe Smith ay tiyak na sobrang grateful siya sa kanyang colleagues sa entertainment at music scene, particularly sa officers and members ng OPM (Organization ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit), headed by singer-performer Ogie Alcasid.

Sa presscon kasi ng upcoming Valentine’s Day concert ni Ogie na Master Of Love, naungkat ang pangangailangan ng tulong ni Pepe na maipalibing ng maayos.

Nanggaling ang balita sa SPEEd (Society of Print Entertainment Editors) Pre­­sident na si Ian Fariñas, na diumano nga humihingi ng tulong ang pamilya ni Pepe, para man lang pambayad sa punerarya na kina-lalagakan nito, plus, sa li­bing.

Kaagad na sagot ni Ogie ay ‘tutulong kami.’

And the next day, kumalat na ang balitang umapaw na ang pakikiramay at tulong para kay Pepe.

Bela at Jodi may mutual admiration society

Parehong loveless ngayon sina Bela Padilla at Jodi Sta. Maria na magkatrabaho for the first time sa TV series na Mea Culpa na ididirek ni Dan Villegas.

Si Bela ay magdadalawang taon nang hiwalay sa film producer na si Neil Arce, who is now the “happiness” na ng aktres na Angel Locsin.

Of Jodi, late last year nang kumalat ang balitang break na sila ni Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla na naging boyfriend niya ng more than eight years.

Balitang isang beauty queen na ang diumano’y kasalukuyang girlfriend ngayon ni Jolo.

Nakapag-taping together na raw ang dalawang aktres. And they both claim na nagagalingan sila sa isa’t isa. Pero, parehong hanga raw sila both sa kanilang direktor na si Dan Villegas.

Direk Dan in-encourage ni Direk Antoinette na mag-TV!

Of direk Dan, he was first an award winning cinematographer. His girlfriend in real life ay si Direk Antoinette Jadaone, na siyang nag-push sa kanya na maging movie and TV director.

He was the director of the Angelica Panga­niban-Carlo Aquino movie, ang Exes Baggage, which was produced by Black Sheep Productions at tumabo ng husto sa takilya.

He directed the movie, Walang Forever, which won him a best director trophy. Starring Jericho Rosales and Jennylyn Mercado, Walang Forever was and entry in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Of direk Antoinette naman, she is the director of the Valentine offering ng Black Sheep Production, Alone/Together, starring reel and real-life lovers Liza Soberano at Enrique Gil.

“Nakakahiya man sabihin,” ani direk Antonoitte. “Truly a movie for two people in love itong Alone/Together.

“And they should watch it from the beginning.”

Nash at Mika bongga ang sari-sariling career

Of new sweethearts who will be cele­brating their first Valentine day together, there are Nash Aguas and Mika dela Cruz.

Dati pareho silang mainstay ng pang-hapong na gag show, Goin’ Bulilit. Even then daw, they individually matured for each other a big crush.

But it was only last year na nagkalakas-loob si Nash, na magtapat ng kanyang nararamdaman kay Mika.

Now, of course, we all know that Mika is a Kapuso. She is cast with Barbie Forteza in the upco­ming series ng Network, Kara Mia.

Nash, na kasalukuyang enrolled in a business course sa isang unibersidad dito sa Metro Manila, is being prepaired by his Network, the Kapamilya, to direct an upcoming TV show.

Both Nash and Mika are 20 years old. They are each other first romance.
