Benjamin hindi nagpatalo sa girlfriend, dala-dalawa ang babae

Kung dalawa ang leading men ni Julie Anne San Jose sa teleserye nito na My Guitar Princess, dalawa rin ang leading ladies ng boyfriend niyang si Benjamin Alves sa teleserye na Karibal Ko Ang Aking Ina na sina Bea Binene at Sunshine Cruz.

Sa naganap na story conference, sey ni Benjamin na very lucky siya na matambal sa dalawang aktres na galing sa magkaibang henerasyon.

“I’m lucky for my character, yun nga eh, with Miss Sunshine and Bea, both people that I haven’t worked with yet.

“It’s always nice to work with somebody new, in that sense, Direk will also challenge us for the show, we’re a cast and a production team who likes challenges,” ngiti pa ni Benjamin.

Matagal din daw kasing hindi nakagawa ng teleserye ni Benjamin. Huli niyang ginawa ay ang I Heart Davao noong 2017.

At the same time, masaya ang Kapuso hunk dahil siya ulit ang napiling ambassador ng GMA Network Excellence Award (GNEA).

Ito ang ikatlong taon na kinuhang ambassador si Benjamin ng GNEA.

“I’m looking forward to finding out who are this year’s candidates, or what kind of characteristics will I remember from them... We are looking for students who excel beyond their standards, beyond good grades, but do something else beyond that” ngiti pa ni Benjamin.

Bago maging aktor si Benjamin, naka-graduate ito bilang summa cum laude sa University of Guam with a degree in English Literature.

Kabilang ang aktor sa uupo bilang panel para ma-deliberate ang GNEA Awardees.

Bing balik-telebisyon na

Happy na nagbabalik sa GMA-7 para gumawa ng bagong teleserye si Bing Loyzaga.

Siyam na taon din ang inabot bago bumalik si Bing sa Kapuso network. 2009 pa ang huling teleserye ni Bing ay ang Paano Ba Ang Mangarap? kung saan bida sina Jennylyn Mercado at Mark Herras.

Gumawa ng ilang teleserye sa ABS-CBN tulad ng Agimat, Rubi at Agua Bendita. Kinontrata naman siya ng TV5 at ginawa ang mga teleserye na Babaeng Hampaslupa, Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa, Enchanted Garden at Positive.

Ngayon ay kasama siya sa cast ng Karibal Ko Ang Aking Ina kung saan makakasama niya sina Bea Binene, Benjamin Alves, Zoren Legaspi, David Licauco at ang nagbabalik din sa GMA-7 na si Sunshine Cruz.

Mariah Carey, hindi makapaniwala sa pagkakaroon ng disorder

Inamin ng superstar na si Mariah Carey na may sakit siyang bipolar disorder.

Na-diagnosed siya noong 2001 at ayaw pa raw niyang maniwala na magkakaroon siya ng ganitong disorder.

“Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me.

“It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore.

“I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music,” sey ni Mariah sa People.

Under medication and therapy si Mariah para makayanan nito ang sakit niya.

“I’m actually taking medication that seems to be pretty good.

“It’s not making me feel too tired or sluggish or anything like that. Finding the proper balance is what is most important.

“For a long time I thought I had a severe sleep disorder.

“But it wasn’t normal insomnia and I wasn’t lying awake counting sheep. I was working and working and working … I was irritable and in constant fear of letting people down.

“It turns out that I was experiencing a form of mania.

“Eventually I would just hit a wall. I guess my depressive episodes were characterized by having very low energy.

“I would feel so lonely and sad — even guilty that I wasn’t doing what I needed to be doing for my career.

“I’m hopeful we can get to a place where the stigma is lifted from people going through anything alone.“It can be incredibly isolating. It does not have to define you and I refuse to allow it to define me or control me,” pagtapos pa ni Mariah Carey.
