Pia aminadong ipinagdasal sa lahat ng simbahan ang korona!

Nagkuwento nga ang Miss Universe 2015 na si Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach sa kanyang Instagram account kung gaano siya nagdasal para mapanalunan niya ang korona ng Miss Universe na matagal nang inaasam ng maraming Pinoy.

Ayon kay Pia ay nagdasal siya sa lahat ng simbahan bago dumating ang coronation night sa Las Vegas.

“First of all.. Thank you, Lord! The countless times I begged you in tears to please grant me my one big wish!

“I prayed in every church I went into, in whichever part of the world I was. Wished on every wishing well I passed by and on every falling star I caught in the sky.

“When everything seemed unreachable or impossible, You found a way. I trained well & despite all the challenges, everything fell into place and I finally got the crown the whole country has been waiting for for 42 years.

“It is true. Focus on the ordinary and God will take care of the extraordinary,” caption pa ni Pia.

Pinasalamatan din ni Pia ang mga taong nagtiyagang i-train siya para masungkit niya ang titulo bilang Miss Universe. Pati na ang kanyang pamilya sa London na hindi tumigil sa pagsuporta sa kanya.

“Second, thank you to the amazing team behind me. Aces and Queens. I am grateful for all the training I did with you. You were my family away from family. I found my confidence when you found my potential.

“To my family in London, Mama, Papa, Sarah, Charlie & Baby Lara. Thank you for being so supportive in all my decisions.

Nasa New York ngayon si Pia at sunud-sunod na ang mga duties niya bilang ang reigning Miss Universe.

Kobe ibinalandra ang girlfriend na model

Very proud si Kobe Paras sa kanyang girlfriend na si Gabrielle Current.

Kung si Andre Paras ay malihim sa kanyang personal life, si Kobe ay all out dahil laman ng kanyang social media accounts ang photos ng kanyang girlfriend na isang Fil-Swedish-Korean model na nakakontrara sa LA Models.

Noong New Year ay nag-post si Kobe ng photo ni Gab at sinabi niya na siya ang “luckiest man in the world”.

Heto ang caption ni Kobe:

“Ended 2015 feeling like the luckiest man in the world cause of this one special person and now I also started 2016 feeling like the most undeserving and still luckiest person ever. Happy New Year and thank you for everything, baby.”

Natalie Cole pumanaw na, 2009 sakitin na

Nagluksa ang American music industry dahil sa pagpanaw ng isa sa tinatawag na “unforgettable” voice na si Natalie Cole.

Sa edad na 65 ay sumakabilang-buhay si Cole noong December 31 sa Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Ang sanhi ng pagkamatay ni Cole ay dahil  sa “complications from ongoing health issues”

Pero noon pa may problema sa substance abuse ang Grammy Award winner.

Naglabas ng statement ang pamilya ni Cole dahil sa pagpanaw nito:

“It is with heavy hearts that we bring to you all the news of our Mother and sister’s passing. Natalie fought a fierce, courageous battle, dying how she lived ... with dignity, strength and honor.

“Our beloved Mother and sister will be greatly missed and remain unforgettable in our hearts forever.”

Nakilala si Natalie dahil sa kanyang sikat na ama na si Nat King Cole.

Naging hit sa music charts ang mga inawit ni Natalie na This Will Be, Inseparable, Our Love at ang classic duet na Unforgettable.

Noong 2009 pa naging sakitin si Natalie. Dumaan siya sa kidney transplant pagkatapos niyang magkaroon ng hepatitis na nakuha niya dahil sa paggamit niya ng mga pinagbabawal na droga.

Maraming shows at tours na kinansela si Natalie dahil sa kanyang health issues.

Nanalo ng siyam na Grammy Awards si Natalie noong 1992 dahil sa album niyang Unforgettable… With Love kung saan naging hit ang virtual duet niya with her late dad Nat King Cole na Unforgettable.

Ayon pa president and CEO ng The Recording Academy:

“We’ve lost a wonderful, highly cherished artist and our heartfelt condolences go out to Natalie’s family, friends, her many collaborators, as well as to all who have been entertained by her exceptional talent.”

Ang ama ni Natalie na si Nat King Cole ay namatay noong 1965 sa edad na 45 dahil sa lung cancer.

Namatay naman ang ina ni Natalie na si Maria Ellington Cole, isang kilalang R&B legend noong 2012 sa edad na 89.
