May drama to the max na naganap, Salve A., sa episode Friday ng game show, Kapamilya: Deal or No Deal, hosted by Luis Manzano, when Atak, the comedian, was chosen the celebrity contestant who will vie for the, of the course, much-prized amount of P1M, yes, tumataginting na P1M, at stake sa kontes.

Earlier, he had confessed that he needed the amount so much. Actually, any amount na dapat malaki-laki, since he said, he had promised his mom he would give him half of the amount na kanyang mapapanalunan. And, half of it, he would use para sa kanyang thorough medical examination.

Kaya bagama’t obvious na ‘di napakasaya, nagpasalamat siya sa kanyang napanalunan.

Dito, Salve A., biglang pumasok sa eksena, kumbaga, si Luis. Suggestion niya kay Atak: Ibigay na nito ang amount na kanyang napanalunan sa kanyang mother. And he then pro­mised Atak, bibigyan niya ito ng kaparehong amount sa kanyang napanalunan para naman sa kanyang medical check up.

Lucy abala pa rin sa pagtulong sa mga sinalanta ng Yolanda

Kaya pala kahit busy with a film assignment si Richard Gomez ngayon, hindi gaanong ‘‘umi-eksena’’ sa showbiz si Ormoc Congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez, busy siya.

Tinututukan daw ni Cong. Lucy ang mga proyektong kanyang ini-implement sa distrito ng Ormoc na kanyang pinamamahalaan, na naapektuhan ng bagyong Yolanda.

Of course, mas inuna ni Cong Lucy ang pagtulong sa problemang pangkabuhayan ng kanyang mga constituent.

Kaya, through the amount which she was able to solicit from friends, natulungan niya, first of all, ang kanyang mga kababayang fishermen in her district. May mga bangka na itong ginagamit sa kanilang hanapbuhay.

JC ipinagmamalaki ang binibentang hamburger

Of Richard G, his movie with Star Cine­ma, titled according to JC de Vera, who is in the cast, too, Never Ever Say Goodbye, co-stars him with Dawn Zulueta. And, for the first time, Jessy Mendiola.

We had a short talk with JC after Showtime last Thursday. We were with Angel Locsin, who is currently guest host ng programa.

Si JC naman ay isa sa jurors, along with Niño Muhlach, among others, sa MiniMe contests.

Looking good, JC said na busy din siya with his restaurant business which, happily, he said, is doing well.
