Matteo hindi ma-imagine na makakasama si Sarah sa pelikula

Kung may member ng cast ng Moron 5.2 The Transformation, na excited sa nalalapit na pagpapalabas ng pelikula, ito ay si Matteo Guidicelli.

Never mind if he is just a replacement to Martin Escudero, who was in the original cast of Moron 5 and The Crying Lady.

‘‘Kabarkada ko rin kasi sina Luis (Manzano), Billy (Crawford), at John (Lapus), since nasa ABS-CBN din sila.

‘‘Kaya, while doing the movie, I had fun. Lalo pa nga at si Direk Wenn (Deramas), kaagad naging mabait sa akin,’’ ani Matteo.

First time raw niyang makasama si Marvin Agustin who was previously a Kapamilya, too, but Matteo didn’t have a chance na makatrabaho, since, bago siya naging contract talent ng ABS-CBN, nakalipat na ng TV5 si Marvin.

A Viva Films movie, marami ang nagtatanong kay Matteo kung  hindi siya nahirapang magpaalam sa ABS-CBN, para gawin ang pelikula.

‘‘Hindi naman,” sagot ni Matteo. “Feel nila, makakatulong din kasi ang paggawa ko nitong movie, para sa aking career.

‘‘Mabait ang management ng Kapamilya. Lalo na ang Star Magic (of which siya nang namamahala ng kanyang showbiz career),’’ susog pa ni Matteo.

Since pwede na rin naman pala siyang gumawa with Viva Films, does this mean, may posibilidad na makagawa siya ng movie with Sarah Geronimo, sa nabanggit na film firm?

Natawa, ang sagot ni Matteo: ‘‘That remains to be seen. Although, I’d welcome the idea.’’

Well, balitang lalong lumalalim ang romantic ugnayan nina Matteo at Sarah.

Angelica inaabangan kung kayang damayan si John Lloyd sa kanyang ‘Trial’

Tanong ng bayan: Makakasama kaya ni John Lloyd Cruz ang girlfriend na si Angelica Panganiban sa premiere tonight ng kanyang pelikulang The Trial sa Megamall?

Lalo’t ngayong, ‘di man aminin ni Angelica, feeling depressed siya dahil sa pag-drag ng kanyang pangalan ng alleged wife ni Derek Ramsay, who is common knowledge, naging boyfriend niya, sa kasong isinampa nito against Derek, whom she (the wife) accuses of marital abuse.

The Trial, which, according to John Lloyd, put him on ‘‘trial’’ as an actor, since dubbed nga naman siya as actor for all seasons, bukod sa pagiging box-office king, co-stars, too, Richard Gomez, Jessy Mendiola, at Gretchen Barretto.

In The Trial, John Lloyd plays a mentally challenged 27-year-old man, who is accused of raping his grade school teacher (Jessy).

Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Chito Roño, The Trial opens October 15 in theaters nationwide.

Has gay comedy onstage become passé na?

Well, how else the decision of Viva Entertainment management to close down The Library, Metrowalk Ortigas, which used to be the venue para makapanood ng mga gay comedy, na dati-rati ay paboritong panoorin lalo’t ng mga gustong makapagpalipas ng oras at maaliw lang.

Well Music Hall na ang nasabing lugar, which was inaugurated recently and promises to be a full-live performance venue.

In fact, sa first night (last Oct. 10) in its series ng shows of live acts, which include the still classic group, Freestyle kasama ang sexy singer-actress na si Sheng Belmonte, nagulat daw ang Viva Entertainment Management ng Music Hall, headed by Tess del Rosario, dahil sa rami ng mga nanood ng palabas.

Tuloy, inspired daw sila with their line-up of special shows this October, as they include the Aegis with Jek Manuel (October 15); Southboarder with Sheng Belmonte (Oct. 17), Juris with Jason Farol (October 18); True Faith with Sheng Belmonte (October 24) and Jinky Vidal with the Six Part Invention (Oct. 31).

Magkakaroon din ng regular performances ang The Climax, Crib, Rogue, Maria’s Project, Sabado Boys, and Music Avenue.

Kaabang-abang din ang series of performances ng ace stand-up comedian na si Jon Santos sa November 14,15, 21, and 22.

And, of course, ng iba pang Viva Artists, at posibleng makasama rin ang Popstar na si Sarah Geronimo?
