Call it realiserye, ito ang bungad ni Judy Ann Santos of her upcoming series, titled I Do, as it is, she further stated, even if it’s actually just a reality series.

‘‘Kasi,’’ Juday (Judy Ann’s pet name) continued. ‘‘The show will somehow influence the future of nine couples, who are participants of the program.

‘‘All of them are eager to take the plunge. But for some reasons, they have to take their time. Which we will unearth sa show.

‘‘Kaya, malaki ang participation ng I Do sa pag-resolve ng kani-kanilang programa.’’

Juday said, ‘di lang siya magiging host ng program, she will be part of the council, too, kasama ng ituturing na life coach, si Pia Acevedo, at si Dr. Julian Montano, kilalang psychologist at marriage councilor.

Serving as Juday’s co-host and likewise, will help her in gi­ving out challenge to the participants is former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate, Jayson Gainza.

As member of the council, Juday, married to Ryan Agoncillo for five years now, is expected to give out pieces of advice to all of the nine pairs, who include a Korean-Pinoy due an engaged couple; high school sweethearts, a couple being haunted by their respective past; a couple na live-in na for three months, dalawang may 19 year-old gap in age but parents na to two kids and neighbors turned lovers.

All nine couples will live in three houses, three pairs sa bawa’t bahay. They will be given a series of tests each, na siyang batayan kung mananatili pa silang contestants o hindi na.

Weekly, magkakaroon ng eliminations, hanggang sa ma-proc­laim na ang winning couple which the public, will determine in the end. Yes, via public voting.

And guess what the prizes in store for the winning couple are?

Tumataginting na P1M in cash, house and lot, plus, of course, their own dream wedding.

I Do starts airing on August 30 on ABS-CBN.

Matagal nang pinapangarap ng kapatid ni Lea Salonga na si Maestro Gerard, natupad sa debut album!

Sa presscon ng formal announcement of the recent release ng ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra’s debut album, Decades of OPM, Maestro Gerard Salonga, on whose baton to some 42 musicians na nakapag-record ng masterpieces of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, was asked: ‘‘Kung hindi mo kapatid si Lea Salonga, considered herself an icon of Philippine music would he have turned music conductor?

His reply: “Yes. As I’ve dreamed to be a musician ever since.’’

The now existence of their debut album, according to Maestro Gerald, ay matagal na niyang pinapangarap. And that is, bringing orchestra, music closer sa puso ng mga Pinoy music lovers.

To add color, wika nga, to the album, they made sure to include the hits of the country ’s best singers, Martin Nievera, Gary Valenciano, Vina Morales, Angeline Quinto, Yeng Constantino, Piolo Pascual, and likewise of the current phenomenal young artists, Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil, and Abra.

Popular ballads of certain decades are in the album, such as Kapalaran, Tubig at Langis, Be My Lady and a medley of Hanggang, Kung Ako na Lang Sana, and the most recent hit, Anong Nangyari sa Ating Dalawa?

Bonus tracks, such as Please Be Careful With My Heart, Maging Sino Ka Man, After All (with Martin N singing) and Kung Kailangan Mo Ako (sung together by Martin N. and Vina M.), are, too included.

Released through Star Records, this first record ever of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, is released through the collaborative effort of ABS-CBN and First Philippine Holdings Corporation.
