Kim hindi na problema ang wedding gown na isusuot, lalaking pakakasalan na lang ang kulang

At 23, wala pa, natural, na plano ang first Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) teenage champ na si Kim Chiu na mag-asawa.

Ni wala pa nga tayong nababalitang steady boyfriend niya mula nang alleged break-up nila ni Ge­rald Anderson.

We all know of course now kung sino ang one and only ni Ge­rald.

And obviously, dahil sa magagandang pang­yayari sa kasalukuyan sa kanyang show­biz career, temporarily din na on hold ang anumang bagay na may kinalaman sa pag-ibig for Kim.

Kapipirma lang ni Kim ng two-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, na walang dudang kinu-consider siyang one of its favored talents. Bukod sa pagkakaroon ng Book Two ng kanyang high rating series, Ikaw Lamang, with Coco Martin, among others, Kim has started work on a new movie, Past Tense, for ABS-CBN’s sister film firm, Star Cinema.

Teamed with Kim in Past Tense is her current favorite leading man, Xian Lim, who was her partner in her to past blockbuster flicks, Bakit ‘Di Ka Crush ng Crush Mo? at Bride for Rent.

Now, guess what’s the latest about Kim?

Well, a pet project, na tinagurian niyang Adorata.

Adorata is Kim’s first big venture as a businesswoman. It is actually a wedding boutique, where she has for her business partners famous couturier and designers, Pepsi Herrara and Edwin Tan. Kasosyo rin nila ang businesswoman na si Arlyn Tang.

Sina Pepsi at Edwin na matagal na rin daw niyang kakilala, kuwento ni Kim, ang nangumbinsi sa kanyang makipagsosyo sa noo’y sisimulan pa lamang na wedding boutique.

Kaagad daw, na-impressed si Kim sa concept nito. Isa itong one-stop wedding shop, where would-be bride can easily come in and can choose the gown she wants to wear on her wedding day.

‘‘What impressed me was that, affordable ang price per gown. Bagama’t de kalidad, tela pa lamang.

‘‘E, naririnig ko mismo sa aking mga kaibigan at tagahanga, lalo na, ang desire nila to wear a gown sa kanilang kasal, pero, ‘di nila ma-afford ang cost ng damit.

‘‘Well, ito na ang solusyon sa problema nila,’’ susog pa ni Kim.

Will she wear one of the gowns in their wedding boutique, kapag ikinasal siya?

‘‘Well, why not?’’ ang maliksing sagot ni Kim. ‘‘Pero kasalukuyang malaking problema sa akin, kung kanino muna ako magpapakasal.’’

Pitong araw na lang, Big Winner sa PBB malalaman na!

Speaking of the ongoing Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) All In, exactly seven days to go na lang before the newest champ, among the remaining six housemates, sina Vicky Rushton, 22; Joshua Garcia, 16, Loisa Andalio, 15; Jane Oineza, 18, Daniel Matsunaga, 25, at Maris Rascal, 16, is proclaimed ‘‘champ’’ on August 24.

Biglang yaman at instant popularity, tulad ng nangyari kay Kim ang naghihintay sa mananalo sa anim na boarders ni Kuya. By this time this issue comes out, may isa o dalawa uling na-evict sa anim.

Sa top four na matitira, pipiliin ang champ na kumbaga, mag-uuwi ng several prizes, among which are a house, courtesy fo Amaia, negosyo worth P1M and, of course, a cash prize of P1M.

This is of course, aside from an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, which can assure the winner stardom.

The Big Night on August 24, so to speak, will be held at the Resorts World Manila.
