Kasikatan ni Bea pilit na hinahabol ni Zanjoe

Kung titulo at achievement sa showbiz ang pag-uusapan, natatawang balita ni Zanjoe Marudo, ‘di puwedeng sabihing nagpapahuli siya sa kanyang pinakamamahal na si Bea Alonzo.

After all nga naman, kung si Bea ang newly proclaimed Movie Queen of today’s generation, well, si Zanjoe naman ang kinikilalang Hari, yes, King, ng Skylight Films, producer ng bagong movie niya with Pokwang, My Illegal Wife.

Skylight Films bestowed naman on Pokwang the title ‘‘Queen’’ ng Skylight.

Ang layo na nga, Salve A., ng narating ni Zanjoe, mula nang luma­bas siya sa Bahay ni Kuya, as part of the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) celebrity edition of the reality show a few years back.

Inside Kuya’s house, ‘di nga ba at napagkamalan na magiging magka-on sila ni Bianca Gonzales, since close as can be silang dalawa, when both of them were boarders ni Kuya.

No wonder na marami ang nag-suspetsang ang kakaibang closeness nila ni Bianca ang dahilan kung bakit nag-break sina Bianca at ang da­ting active na director ng ABS-CBN, now a Congressman ng Taguig, si Lino Cayetano.

But that, of course, is now water under the bridge. Married na for almost one year si Congressman Cayetano to former Ateneo volleyball player, Fille Cainglet, the couple are parents to a new-born baby.

Bianca naman is set to marry cager JC Intal in December.

Tungkol pa rin kay Zanjoe, did you know that the late star maker, Douglas Quijano, had a hand kung bakit napasok siya sa showbiz?

If I remember right (mga four  years na rin mula nang biglang bawian ng buhay si Douglas), Zanjoe was a former Bench model, na pag-aari ni Ben Chan, a close-close friend ni Douglas.

Angel at Maja selyado ang bibig sa ending nang agawan ng asawa

How the series, The Legal Wife, will end is still a guessing game to us (regular viewers of the series).

By this time, of course, the lead stars of the show, Angel Locsin, who plays the title role, Maja Salvador and, of course, Jericho Rosales, ay alam na ang katapusan ng kuwento. Including of course, sina Christopher de Leon, Rio Locsin, Joem Bascon, Ahron Villena, Johan Santos, Maribel Lopez, and JC de Vera, who are also in the cast. Pero nanatiling tikom ang kanilang bibig tungkol dito.

Lalo na, of course, ang mga director nito na sina Rory Quintos at Dado Lumibao. Nag-last taping day sila Friday of last week at magtatapos Friday this week.

 Tungkol naman kay Jericho, who with wife Kim Jones, has agreed na huwag mula silang magkaanak, until such time when they both believe set na sila to become parents, ganundin sina Richard Poon, singer, at Maricar Reyes, TV actress.

One year exactly ngayong June mula nang ikasal sina Richard at Maricar. At one year daw, ayon kay Maricar, ang usapan nilang huwag muna silang magkaanak.

Now busy with a new series with Bea Alonzo, Albert Martinez, Dina Bonnevie, Tonton Gutierrez, Eddie Garcia, at Susan Roces, mapu-postpone somehow muna ang kanyang pagbubuntis ayon kay Maricar.

Lalo pa nga at kung ma-extend nang ma-extend ang series, halimbawa, for a year, saad naman ng dalawang director na sina Jerome Pobocan at Trina Dayrit.
