Judy Ann at Regine nagpaplano na ng isa pang baby sa 2013!

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Did we hear it right that next year, both Judy Ann Santos at Regine Valesquez are planning to get pregnant anew?

Judy Ann, who has a Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako, co-starring her for the first time with Sen. Bong Revilla, Jr. and Vic Sotto thinks it’s high time she and Ryan Agoncillo have another. Their eldest, Lucho, will soon turn two.

Nag-turn one year old naman ang panganay nina Regine at Ogie Alcasid na si Nate last November.

Eric Quizon sasamahan ang ina at kapatid sa US hanggang Bagong Taon

Hindi sa Pilipinas magpapalipas ng Pasko at Bagong Taon si Eric Quizon. In fact, may ilang araw na siyang nakaalis for the USA where his mom, former actress Pamela Ponti and sister Madonna, are now based.

‘‘Tradition na ito sa akin taun-taon. Yes, mula nang mag-decide ang mother ko na sa abroad na sila manirahan ni Madonna. But for the last two years, dito ako nagkusang magdiwang ng Pasko at Bagong Taon. Ito kasi ’yung mga panahong nagiging masakitin na si daddy (the late Dolphy),’’ pahayag pa ni Eric.

Pero babalik din daw kaagad ng Pilipinas si Eric kasi he is set to direct another series for TV5.

Before Eric left, naging co-director siya ni Direk Joyce Bernal for the katatapos na TV series Enchanted Garden.

PMPC tinutukan ang writing contest

Naging masaya ang nakaraang Christmas party ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) na kasalukuyang pinamumunuan ni Roldan Castro. Umapaw ang tsibugan at maging ang regalo, donated by a number of celebrities for the raffle, ay umapaw din.

Tulad ng ilang Christmas parties held in honor of the entertainment press, not necessarily for the PMPC officers and members, walang umuwing luhaan.

The highlight of the party though was the announcement of the winners in the writing contest, both for articles and columns ng mga member na na-publish na. Plus, an on-the-spot writing contest.

Well, sa mga na-publish nang write up, ang nag-emerge na first prize winner ay si Julie Bonifacio whose winning piece (her subject was Zsa Zsa Padilla) was published in the magazine, The Buzz, which she used to edit.

Julie has been president of the PMPC for two years. She is running again for the same position as incumbent President Roldan Castro’s term ends early next year.

Opponent niya ang another former PMPC president, si Fernan de Guzman.

Well, to both Julie and Fernan good luck!

By the way, sa writing contest, ang nanalo naman ay si Joey Sarmiento.

It was chaired by another former PMPC prexy, Ernie Pecho, who writes a column for PM.

According to Ernie, it was Ronald Constantino, who writes for Tempo and formerly a PMPC prexy, too, who encouraged the club to continue the old tradition of having a yearly writing contest among the members and officers.

The PMPC is now on its nearly four decades as an organization na ang officers and members ay entertainment writers.
