SP Cayetano suspendihin din - Matibag

MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ni National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag na dapat ding suspendhin si Senador Alan Peter Cayetano dahil sa command responsibility sa naganap na shooting incident noong Mayo 13 sa Senado,

Ito ang reaksyon ni Matibag sa naging pahayag ni Cayetano na humihimok sa Office of the Ombudsman na suspendihin siya dahil sa pag-atake sa Senado.

“I wasn’t the one who fired a gun. Maybe he was thinking that as a head of the NBI, I should be suspended too for command responsibility,” ani Matibag sa Manila City Hall Reporter’s Association (MACHRA) forum sa Maynila.

“If that would be the basis, then the first to be suspended is Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano because the Senate Sergeant-At-Arms is his command responsibility,” aniya.

Aniya, handa siyang humarap sa anumang imbestigasyon dahil wala naman talagang NBI agents sa Senado, kundi sa mismong GSIS premises lang, dahil iginalang niya ang ‘gentleman’s agreement’ nila ni Cayetano na hindi aarestuhin habang nakabinbin pa ang desisyon ng Korte Suprema sa hiling ng kampo ni Dela Rosa na temporary restraining order (TRO) at ang protective custody.
