Donaire-Darchinyan fight mukhang hindi na matutuloy

MANILA, Philippines - Isang araw matapos sabihin ni Frank Espinoza, manager ni dating world flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan, na naging maayos ang kanilang usapan ni Came-ron Dunkin, ang manager ni dating unified world super bantamweight champion Nonito ‘The Filipino Flash’ Donaire, Jr. ay posible namang hindi matuloy ang nasabing rematch sa Nobyembre 9.

Ayon kay Dunkin, ayaw pumayag ni Darchinyan na labanan si Donaire sa 126 pounds (featherweight).

“Donaire is ready to fight Darchinyan, but Darchinyan is also saying he won’t fight at 126 pounds,” wika ni Dunkin sa panayam ng ESPN.com report.

Pinabagsak ni Donaire (31-2-0, 20 KOs) si Darchinyan (39-5-1, 28 KOs) sa fifth round para agawin sa huli ang mga suot nitong International Boxing Federation at International Boxing Organization flyweight titles noong Hulyo ng 2007.

Sinabi ni Espinoza na matagal nang gustong muling makalaban ni Darchinyan si Donaire sa hangaring makabawi.

Inaasahang maghahangad ng panalo ang 30-anyos na si Donaire matapos mabigo kay Guillermo Rigondeaux  (12-0, 8 KOs) ng Cuba noong Abril 13 sa Radio City Music Hall sa New York City.
