MANILA, Philippines -Ang Alaxan FR Galing Mo Camp ay magtitipon ng 50 batang promising players mula sa Visayas at Mindanao sa isang basketball training program na pangangasiwaan ng mga basketball legends sa April 17-19 sa Unilever Gym sa Pasig.
Limang players mula sa Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Sarangani, Tacloban at Zamboanga ang makikibahagi sa National camp kung saan ang top 10 performers ay mananalo ng cash prizes bukod pa sa P100,000 financial grant para sa community project na kanilang mapipili.
Napili ang mga ito sa libu-libong nakibahagi sa provincial legs ng Alaxan FR Galing Mo Camp ng mga dating PBA stars na sina Alvin Patrimonio, Benjie Paras, Jerry Codiñera, Johnny Abarrientos, Jojo Lastimosa at Ronnie Magsanoc.
“They are all winners already, given this opportunity to go to Manila and play before coaches looking to discover talents for their schools,†sabi ni Abarrientos. “Even myself is in search of players whom I can recommend for our FEU team.â€
“We didn’t just select them for their skills. They were chosen according to their display of hard work and determination because these are the traits that make champions,†sabi naman ni Paras.
