Naging bukas ang Kapamilya actor na si Sam Milby sa sitwasyon niya niya ngayon living with diabetes.

“I found out last year when I was still in my 30s. Type 2. Which is crazy because hindi ako mahilig sa sweets. I’m not a dessert person. Pizza, pasta – hindi ako mahilig. I mean I enjoy but I rarely have it. Ako pa ang nagka-diabetes. It’s not in my family. My parents, ‘yung mga lola’t lolo, wala. So, I don’t know how I got it,” diin ni Sam.

Mina-manage niya ang kanyang kalusugan with oral medications and by monitoring his blood sugar daily.

“Just something you live with. I have medicine. Hindi pa ako nag-i-inject ng insulin, walang ganyan. I just have oral medicines that I take, at mas nag-iingat na ako sa mga kinakain and even drinks. So many people have it now. It sucks but it is a part of my life. It’s manageable.”

At naghahanda rin siya para sa kanyang 20th year in showbiz sa 2025.

“It’s going to be my 20th year anniversary, end of next year, to showbiz. PBB was 2005. Lumabas ako ng PBB house was Nov. 5, 2005 so twenty years na.

“I just feel so blessed kasi katatapos pa lang ng contract signing with ABS-CBN. Just looking forward to the work that’s going to be coming up.”

Kasama siya sa series na Saving Grace, na mapapanood sa Prime Video.

James, ngayon lang kinilala ang Randomatic

Happy si James Reid dahil muling pinapatugtog sa radyo ang 2015 single niya na Randomatic. Na-stream ito sa TikTok and Spotify, with 46 million streams to date.

“I’m very happy. I’ve always loved that song. I’m glad we’ve finally got the recognition that it deserves. I’ve seen a lot of covers and I’m super grateful.

“Music is very personal. I get to write all the songs, get to create music, get to conceptualize the music videos. It’s very personal. I’m very happy where I am now, which is why I’m comfortable with coming back,” sey ni James.

James just released his new songs Mirasol, Di Bale, Sandal, Hurt Me Too, Your Boy, and Pauwi Na, accompanied with official lyric videos on YouTube.

“For this EP, I just wanted to kind of combine everything that was me. The idea was coming home to my sounds, to myself, to the fans. It felt like, you know, coming back to myself.”
