Rhea, busy sa Canada!

Kasama ang former Unang Hirit host na si Rhea Santos sa 75 Faces of Migration project, na collaboration ng Embassy of Canada in the Philippines and the Philippine Embassy in Canada.

Ibinabahagi rin ng naturang proyekto ang kuwento ng 75 Filipinos and Filipino-Canadians.

“I am humbled to be part of the 75 Filipinos in Canada chosen for the project 75 Faces of Migration. This is one of the many undertakings of our Philippine Embassy in Canada and the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines to mark 75 years of strong bilateral relations between the two countries. In July, some of our stories were showcased at a reception held at the official residence of Canadian Ambassador David Hartman,” sey ni Rhea na nag-migrate sa Canada noong 2019 kasama ang kanyang pamilya.

Naging host si Rhea ng Unang Hirit for 19 years at sa Canada ay nagawa niyang mag-aral ng Broadcast and Online Journalism sa British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Kasalukuyang nagtatrabaho si Rhea sa isang Canadian TV channel.

Fil-Am comedian, gaganap na Pinoy nurse sa NBC show

Natuwa ang Filipino-American community in Holly­wood sa Fil-Am comedian na si Nico Santos dahil napapanood ito sa bagong NBC sitcom na St. Denis Medical.

Gumaganap na Pinoy nurse named Rene si Nico sa naturang sitcom na kasama ang comedians na sina Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, David Alan Grier, Kaliko Kauahi, Meeki Leeper, and Josh Lawson.

Nakilala si Nico sa hit sitcom na Superstore. Lumabas siya sa mga pelikulang Crazy Rich Asians, at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
