Asked during the presscon, organized for her by DZMM para sa kanyang wellness show na nagdiriwang ng ika-15th year, ang Ma-Beauty Po Naman, why she was not in politics when she has every reason to, as her lolo is President Elpidio Quirino, one of our country’s foremost top leaders. Cory Quirino replied: “Well, the subject of wellness has always been part of me, since I was a child.
“Isang advocacy is para sa akin ang ma-impart sa mga listerner ko sa aking programa, ang kahalagahan ng pagiging health conscious sa tuwina. While not depriving oneself the chance to also look good.”
Cory is grateful that with DZMM, she found a platform for her advocacy.

Dr. Lulu Enriquez maraming natulungan sa problema sa sex
Popular din ang show ni Dr. Lulu Enriquez with sex education as its main subject is Private Nights, aired also in DZMM for 11 years now.
Born to a family of doctors, she took up medicine in college specializing in anesthesiology.
It was later that she discovered na ang expertise pala niya ay ang magbigay ng educational and inspirational talks about sex and intimacy.
“I make sure though that when I discuss sex in my show, sa paraang acceptable ito.
“Aware ako na on this age of social media, kaya pang i-discuss ang sexy openly, lalo na sa himpapawid at telebisyon.
“Ganunpaman, nagpapasalamat ako na marami sa aking listeners ang nagpapa-totoo na somehow they learn a lot from my show. Mga subject on child abuse, teenage pregnancy at lalo na tungkol sa HIV infection.
“Couples na maituturing na advocate ng Private Nights revealed that as is the two of them na nakikinig at nanonood ng programa, they have improved both their pagsasama and their private moments,” tukoy pa ni Dr. Enriquez.
Private Nights is aired every Sunday on DZMM, from 3am to 4am.
Elisse affected sa pamba-bash ng fans nina Julia at Joshua
Unti-unti nang napi-feel ni Elisse Joson ang inaasahan niyang panlalait, pamba-bash, kasama na ang pambu-bully, sa followers ng tandem nina Joshua Garcia at Julia Barretto.
Bagama’t inihanda na raw niya ang sarili sa untowards reaction ng Joshua-Julia Fanatics, when she got the role of the third party sa pag-iibigan ng dalawa sa Ngayon At Kailanman, ewan daw kung bakit nasasaktan siya.
“Sana’y di maging physical naman, in time, ang kung anumang mayroon sila against me for my performance sa series.
“Although, marami rin ang nagsasabi sa akin na dapat maging masaya ako, since it means I’m doing a good job,” pahayag ni Elisse.
Elisse started her career as half of the love team nila ni McCoy De Leon. They are both former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemates.
Ngayon At Kailanman marks her first time to do a project minus McCoy.
McCoy at Elisse wala pa ring inaamin sa tampuhan
Equally doing well as a solo performer din si McCoy. He is in the cast of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano na pinagbibidahan ni Coco Martin.
Agaw-pansin ang mga eksena niya sa series lately, where he acted bilang leader ng grupo ng mga aktibistang hangad mapatalsik ang supposed President ng Pilipinas na ginagampanan naman ni Edu Manzano.
A good dancer too, McCoy is seen most of the time on It’s Showtime performing with the all-male group, Hashtag.
Of his love team with Elisse, McCoy admits that nagkaroon nga sila ng tampuhan at dumating sa point na hindi na sila nagpapansinan.
But these days, they are back in each other arms and might do either a movie or a series together.
