Wow, naman, Salve A., how lucky can Daniel Padilla get?

Close on the heels of the super box office success of his currently showing movie, Crazy Beautiful You, with reel and real-life love, Kathryn Bernardo, here comes the big news that he is seriously leading the nomination in the MYX Music Awards.

And guess what more? Daniel also got a nomination at the Nickelodeon Kids Awards for Favorite Asian Category.

And it’s likely that the Teenage King will win both awards.

As Kathryn, the Teenage Queen herself said: ‘‘I’m certain, our fans and following will not fail Daniel. ‘Di ba Kathniel supporters?’’

In celebration of the 30^th year of the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and Classification Board), the organization, headed by Atty. Eugenio ‘‘Toto’’ Villareal, ay naglunsad ng bagong infomercial, na nagsimulang ipalabas noong February 23.

Directed by Joey Javier Reyes, from the storyboard conceptualized by top commercial writer, Erlito ‘‘Lilet’’ Reyes, the infomercial features the reel-and real-life tandem nina Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo.

The infomercial supposedly opened one morning sa bahay ng mag-asawa, habang both of them are taking their time to report for work.

Hindi kalayuan sa kanila ang anak na babae na abala rin sa paghahanda papunta sa school sa tulong ng yaya.

Na karaniwang eksena sa maraming tahanan, a TV set is located somewhere around the place na nagkaka-ipun-ipon sila.

Nakabukas ang TV. And obviously, isang eksena sa kung anumang palabas sa TV ang naka-caught ng atensyon ng bata. Lalo na nang ang bidang babae ay mag-dialogue na ‘‘ako ang kabit ng iyong asawa.’’

Alien apparently sa pandinig ng batang babae, who must be about seven years old lang, she confronted her parents, asking them what ‘‘kabit’’ means. (Wait ‘di po ba pag umaga bawal manood ng TV lalo na kung papasok sa school ang mga bata? Saka baka naman pelikula ang pinanonood ng mga yaya kaya may ganung dialogue na lalong mas bawal? Thus, according to MTRCB Chair Villareal the reason why MTRCB is coming out with this infomercial. If only to remind all parents of their duties to their children, lalo’t sa pag-guide sa mga TV prog­rams na kanilang pinanonood at panoorin.

Judy Ann and Ryan, together with MTRCB board members Bibeth Orteza, yes, the writer-comedianne who is also married to director Carlitos Siguion-Reyna, and Manet Dayrit, kilalang film and TV editor, discussed the infomercial first with Direk Reyes, bago tuluyang kinunan ito. They themselves want to know, kumbaga, the merits and demerits, of the infomercial, bago ito kinunan.

It was on the eve of February 23, when the Memo­randum of Understanding (MOU), between the TV Networks at mga operator ng mga sinehan and, of course, the MTRCB was signed.

Right now, ini-air na on all TV networks at thea­ters nationwide ang infomercial.

Karla hindi na inililihim ang bagong karelasyon

Out in the open na ang pagkakaroon ng boyfriend ng Mama ni Daniel Padilla na si Karla Estrada.

The guy’s name is Mark Yatco.

Though matagal nang hiwalay sina Karla at ang father ni Daniel na si Rommel Padilla, they have remained good friends. Actually, na-maintain ni Karla ang closeness sa lahat ng ama ng kanyang apat na anak.

Currently, nasa Europe si Karla, na may koneksiyon sa itinayo niyang negosyo. Habang nanatili siyang talent manager at treasurer ng anak na si Daniel.
