Liwanag… ni Jake, dedicated kay Kuya Germs!
Today marks the birthday of a much-admired and well-liked personality in the industry, Tony Tuviera, who turns officially 70 years old.
Mr. T., as he is fondly and dearly called by most everyone in the showbiz industry, is, again, we all know, head and captain of the ship of APT Entertainment, producer of the long-running noontime musical daily show on GMA 7, Eat Bulaga.
APT, which, of course, stands for Antonio Tuviera Entertainment also produces other TV shows and films. At ang pinaka-latest na pelikulang iprinuduce nga nila ay ang Liwanag sa Dilim, na mag-o-open in theaters nationwide, February 11.
Starring the love team of Jake Vargas at Bea Binene, Liwanag sa Dilim, which has Direk Richard Somes at the helm, also stars Sarah Lahbati, Rico Blanco, Igi Boy Flores, Sunshine Dizon, Dante Rivero, at Freddie Webb, among others.
It’s a horror-mystery thriller, according to Direk Somes, kaya it’s an entire new experience raw for both Jake at Bea, na kasalukuyang may slight lovers quarrel.
May konting action scenes si Jake, which happily again, ani Direk Richard, Jake was able to accomplish with flying colors.
Jake said he wants to dedicate Liwanag sa Dilim sa kanyang mentor at ama-amahan sa showbiz, si Kuya Germs (German Moreno to you and me).

Martin hindi nae-excite sa kanyang birthday
Isa pang well-liked guy in the business who just turned a year older, Wednesday February 4, is Martin Nievera.
He turned 53 naman.
Not everyone among Martin’s current fans and following obviously know na may kakambal si Martin, si Vicky, who is based in the U.S. with her family.
Their mom is feature writer, Conchita Razon. Father nina Martin at Vicky and kilalang balladeer na si Bert Nievera.
No one outside of Martin’s family knew, of course, how he celebrated his birthday. Pero, ang tiyak halos ng lahat ay ang excitement na ‘di niya inililihim, dala nga naman ng palapit na concert na for the first time, pagsasamahan nila nina Regine Velasquez, Lani Misalucha, at Gary Valenciano.
As well-publicized, nakatakda itong maganap on February 13 and 14 at the MOA (Mall of Asia Arena) in Pasay City.
Titled Ultimate, it is produced by U.S. based Filipino concert producer, Anna Puno.
