Erich kumantang pinagnasaan siya ni Coco

Matindi pala ang crush ni Coco Martin kay Erich Gonzales lalo na noong nagtambal sila sa series na Juan dela Cruz.

Siguro raw, kung hindi open si Erich tungkol sa kanyang boyfriend, na balitang nephew ng malls and condominium buildings magnate na si Henry Sy, niligawan sana niya ito.

But as Erich said: “I want to be fair with my boyfriend. Alam ko kasing mahal na mahal din niya ako. And he trusts me. Tulad din ng pagtitiwalang mayroon ako sa kanya.”

Ayon kay Kris Aquino, who plays lea­ding lady to Coco in the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Feng Shui 2, si Erich daw talaga ang tipo ng babaeng type mahalin at maging girlfriend ni Coco - maganda, mabait, at mukhang probinsiyana.

Of which, Erich admits, she is. Hanggang ngayon daw, nakatatak pa kay Erich ang pagiging laking pro­binsiya. She grew up and was reared sa isang probinsiya sa Davao.

Naging champ sa season two ng Star Circle Quest, conducted ng ABS-CBN si Erich, which served as her passport to what she is now in showbiz.

Playing as second wife to Jason Abalos in the ongoing popular and controversial series, Two Wives, nagiging object si Erich ng bashings sa social media.

“Huwag lang nila akong saktan,” ani Erich. “Maski, alam kong ang hate nila ay hindi ako, kung hindi si Jasmine, ang role ko sa series.

“In a way, too, I should feel good. Kasi, nangangahulugan din lang na I deliver effectively, sa role ko.”

Ito rin daw ang sabi sa kanya mismo ni Kaye Abad, who plays Jason’s first wife.

Actually, kung tutuusin, between Erich and Kaye as Yvonne, mas matapang ‘di hamak si Kaye. Siya, bilang Yvonne ang nagkikimkim ng galit both kay Victor (Jason) at Janine.

Also in Two Wives, na equally important ang role ay si Patrick Garcia. The cast, too, include Jean Saburit, Regine Angeles, Isay Alvarez, Alex Medina, Melai Cantiveros at Vandolf, among others.

Ricky Reyes tumanggap na naman ng award

Beauty specialist, philanthropist, and popular TV host, Ricky Reyes received two more awards na muling magpapatunay sa mga accomplishment bilang tao at professional.

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), Star Awards for TV cited Ricky anew not just for the effectiveness of his weekly series, Gandang Ricky Reyes, on GMA News TV.

Last Saturday, kasama ng mga fellow celebrities na sina Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, at former Laguna Governor ER Ejercito, tumanggap din ng award for Humanitarian Service si Ricky.

Other awardees include Fr. Joey Faller, founder of the Kamay ni Jesus Healing Foundation in Lucban, Quezon, Boots Anson-Roa-Rodrigo (institution); Dr. James Dy of the Chinese General Hospital, Miguel Belmonte who was represented by Al Pedroche (at the Awards Ceremony) and Wilson Tieng (business); Congressman Alfred Vargas and PAO Chief Persida Acosta (Government) and Arnold Clavio and Tulfo Brothers represented by Raffy Tulfo (broadcasting).

The Gintong Palad Awards Ceremony was held at the Ilustrado Events Place in Intramuros (Manila). Head of the organization is entertainment columnist, Emy Abuan.
