Hindi naman pala lahat ng couples, Salve A., na kasali sa reality contest ng ABS-CBN is in the competition, dahil after sila sa wedding at honeymoon package, na siyang in store for the winning pair.
Isa sa pinaka-best example are Chris at Karen, who have a two decade age gap, at siya ring may pinakamahabang relasyon among the couples. More or less, mga 11 years na raw silang mag-sweetheart.
And guess what, Chris, at 45, is, kumbaga well-established na kung pinansiyal ang pag-uusapan.
May ilan siyang businesses na pinagkakakitaan regularly. And Karen herself ay may work din.
Between them it’s obvious, during an interview with them, na si Karen ang ‘‘susi,’’ kung bakit nananatiling matatag ang kanilang relasyon, na malamang mag-end nga sa wedding.
‘‘Iniintindi ko siya,’’ said Karen referring to Chris. ‘‘Kung minsan, ‘di niya mapigilang ‘di magkaroon ng outburst.
‘‘But in the end, when he realizes his mistake/mistakes, he can be the sweetest guy on this side of the earth,’’ pahayag pa ni Karen.
‘‘I love her, lalo’t for her patience and understanding,’’ said Chris, sa part niya.
“Our stint in the show, I Do, taught me, and I guess si Karen din, that together we can grow better.’’
‘‘I have no doubt, that she is,’’ sagot ni Chris. ‘‘I want us to be together for life.’’
Another groom-to-be in the competition na handang pakasalan ang kanyang Filipino girlfriend anytime soon, win or lose rito sa I Do competition, is Jimmy, a Korean national.
His Filipino partner, Kring, revealed her father has given her an ultimatum to get married next year.
E, as far as he is concerned naman daw, said Jimmy, na kay Kring ang desisyon.
Jimmy has a stable job sa Pilipinas. He works as a marketing head of an accessory firm for a Korean company, based dito.
From among the nine couples na sumali sa programa, limang couples na lang ang natitira.
Who among them will emerge the winning couple? Not even I Do host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo has an idea nor, I Do coach Pia Acevedo at psychologist and marriage counselor, Dr. Julian Montano.
I Do is aired twice a week, Saturdays and Sundays on ABS-CBN.
Dennis at LJ tinilian sa premiere ng The Janitor
Sa special screening ng The Janitor noong Tuesday (opening day in theaters nationwide was the following day, Wednesday, October 8) sa Cinema 2, SM North, may ka-date si Kean Cipriano na magandang lass.
She is a member daw of the band na makakasama niya sa kanyang naurong na concert (which supposedly was earmarked September 16), October 16 at the Music Museam.
Hindi binanggit ni Kean kung more than friends sila ng babae. But one thing obvious, extra solicitous siya with her.
Ciara Sotto was with husband, Jojo Oconer.
Also present were The Janitor producer, Tony Tuviera, who arrived with wife, Madelaine.
Present of course ang couple ng director ng The Janitor, Direk Mike Tuviera, who was naman with wife, Penny Daza.
Among the major cast members, hindi namin namataan sina Richard Gomez, Ricky Davao at Raymund Bagatsing.
