We owe that to her,’’ aniya.

‘‘We are glad, binigyan niya kami ng liberty to make the necessary changes, which, we think, will make Once a Princess, more appealing to the moviegoers.’’

‘‘Me,’’ ani Erich, was able to read the book in one seating, matapos siyang bigyan ng kopya nito, after pumayag siyang gawin ang movie. ‘‘Ako, I love the story in its, wika nga, originality.

‘‘But after watching the movie, mas lalo akong humanga sa naging kuwento nito.

While it’s not the first time na magkasama sa isang project, mapa-TV o mapa-pelikula nina Erich at Enchong Dee, first time naman ito for JC na makatrabaho ang dalawa.

‘‘It was not easy,” pag-amin ni JC. ‘‘Pero, dahil both Erich at Enchong were tremendously understanding of my plight, if it can be called such, ‘‘gumaan,’’ kahit papaano ang pakiramdam ko.

‘‘Tingin ko nga, when I finally saw the rushes ng Once a Princess, I did more than expected.’’

One a Princess opens in theaters nationwide, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 6.

Joey, Anjo, at Jomari inuna ni Goma para manahimik

Richard Gomez finds an excuse to reunite with his former sitcom (remember, Palibhasa Lalaki) co-stars, Joey Marquez and Anjo Yllana, via his new game show, Quiet Please! Bawal ang Maingay which will start airing Sunday, August 10, 8:00 p.m., on TV5.

Makakasama ng dalawa ang dating favorite leading lady ni Goma (Richard’s pet name among his colleagues), si Snooky Serna.

Since each episode requires six competing contestants, divided into two groups, tatlu-tatlo in each group, ang tatlong celebrities na ‘‘makakalaban’’ nina Joey, Jomari at Snooky, ay sina Alice Dixson, Derek Ramsay, at Wendell Ramos.

All six of them are given tasks which they have to accomplish as silently as possible. They are only given a few seconds to finish the task.

Habang patuloy ang paglalaro nila, any form of pag-iingay, gawa man nila o hindi, ay sapat nang dahilan para ma-eliminate ang isang contestant from the race.

‘‘It’s an exciting game show,’’ ani Richard, who co-hosts the program with K Brosas. ‘‘And the prizes at stake mas nagpapa-excite, na mararanasan ng bawat contestant.

‘‘Ito rin ang paraan, para malaman nilang they are capable to become quiet, maski lang for a few minutes.

‘‘As it is, that, in itself, is a big challenge na, ‘di ba?’’
