Dingdong magpo-produce ng pelikula nila ni Marian!
Grateful to the max daw si Dingdong Dantes to Star Cinema for assigning him with two films, One More Try and She’s the One na still showing in SM theaters nationwide, na parehong moneymakers.
One More Try, as we all know, ay entry ng movie outfit na pinamamahalaan ni Malou Santos, sa Metro Manila Filmfest (MMFF) last year. Aside from its being an official MMFF moÂneymaker, One More Try, likewise, won for Dingdong two best actors trophies (from Star Awards for MoÂvies of the Philippine Movie Press Club and the GuilÂlermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation Box-Office King and Queen Awards), for leading ladies, Angel Locsin, three best actress awards (from the same award-giving bodies and the FAMAS and for Angelica PaÂnganiban, a best actress trophy, too, from the Guillermo Foundation.
She’s the One co-stars Dingdong with Bea Alonzo and new actor Enrique Gil. Direction: Mae Czarina Cruz.
Now guest what Dingdong’s plan is, although he is busy with his current series with GMA 7, Genesis, with Lorna Tolentino and Rhian Ramos as his leading ladies.
He hopes to produce a movie for his Agosto Dos Pictures, yes, following Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicle, which he co-produced with Dondon Monteverde’s film outfit, Reality Entertainment.
Like in Tiktik…, he might star in the movie, too, with – hold your breathe, real life lady love, Marian Rivera as his leading lady.
This time, Dingdong daw might co-produce with Tony Tuviera’s APT Entertainment.
APT’s Group now manages the showbiz career ni Marian.
