Ate Vi ayaw makisawsaw sa naging problema ni Luis kay Jennylyn!

On her son Luis Manzano’s much talked about breakup with girlfriend of two years Jennylyn Mercado, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto in a text message to a fellow entertainment writer said: ‘‘Hindi ako nakikihalo. They are mature enough. Let’s pray na lang they will be both okay.’’

Before the duo’s breakup they were reportedly preparing to leave on a trip with Gov. Vi and the rest of the family.

While the camp of Jennylyn has denied that there’s third party involved, his camp, on the other hand, has yet to get the go-signal from him how to explain how it happened and what caused it.

Dennis’ co-star, Tom Rodriguez, on the other hand, if you recall, during the stint as boarder ni Kuya in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) was linked to a fellow housemate, Princess Manzon from Cebu.

Princess later joined showbiz. But she has yet, wika nga, to hit the big time unlike Tom.

In any case, balitang nagkarelasyon sila for three years.

Currently ang napapabalitang ka-on ni Tom ay si K-La Rivera, tubong Canada, at sumali rin sa isang reality show. Unfortunately ’di rin siya nanalo.

She’s now active as a theater actress.

Meantime, luck continues to be on Tom’s side. Aside from his soon to be released flick, Bekikang: Ang Nanay Kong Beki with Joey Paras, he will next be seen in another Viva Films production where he will reportedly be cast na bida na.

Ang kanyang katatapos na series with Dennis, My Husband’s Lover, ay much talked about pa rin hanggang ngayon.

Jericho matagal nang hinahangad si Angel

’Di raw bothered a bit si Jericho Rosales whenever he is asked how he feels na second choice lang siya to play the lead role opposite Angel Locsin in the tentatively entitled series Minsan Lang Kita Mamahalin.

Common knowledge nga naman, after all, that the role was originally earmarked for Paulo Avelino, who begged off dahil at that time that the project was offered to him he had a personal problem.

In any case, on Jericho’s take on the issue: ‘‘What matters to me is that I’m finally entrusted the role. And I would have accepted the offer pa rin, kahit pa siguro third or fourth na ako sa pinagpilian, dahil the role is worth it.

‘‘Besides, the idea of working with Angel, much less, our director, Rory Quintos, ay matagal ko nang hinangad. Kaya why would I allow pride to stop me from accepting a good role and project,’’ dugtong pa ni Jericho.

Fresh from his triumph both as actor and producer of the indie movie, Alagwa, Jericho said ’di pa man nagsisimula ang kanilang series he feels extremely proud of it na.

The series, which has Des Tanwangco as overall head of the production, also stars Maja Salvador, Christopher de Leon, Mark Gil, JC de Vera, and Rio Locsin.
